Playard Crib
baby sleeping advice?
My baby is almost 6 weeks old
He did not take to his bassinet, but he likes sleeping on the bassinet attachment on his playard, and his vibrating chair (I don’t even need to put on the vibrator)
I would like him to sleep in the same bedroom as us until he sleeps through the night, then I would like to transition to his crib, which is in his own room
Would it be bad to just let him sleep in his vibrating chair next to our bed until we make the transition?
I am hesitant to go out and buy a new bassinet that he may prefer

It should be fine as long as his neck isn’t turned or he is slouching too much. He’s ultimately sleeping sitting up so it may cause issues when it comes time to lie down to sleep.
I would “practice” sleeping in his crib during the day. Maybe put him in there for a nap or two while you’re still awake to get him used to the idea of lying down.
