It just seems like we’re getting overly sensitive. Toy recalls aren’t new–the LEAD and the GHB are new, but toy recalls in general occur every single day.

But seriously:
Jack Sparrow’s Spinning Dagger because it can hurt someone? Spider Man 3 New Goblin Sword because it will be used to jab people? Rubber Band Shooter because it’s meant to shoot rubber bands at people?

What are they going to recall next? A basketball because it gave someone a black eye?

Whatever happened to parent supervision?

It’s like the Bumbos or infant cold medicines they recalled because parents were idiots.

So the question: Are we overly sensitive to toy recalls?
